Card Vocab Studio (cardvocabstudio.com) is a client-side web application for creating multilingual vocabulary flashcards and printable/mobile study posters. Your generated vocabulary decks, preferences, and any AI API key you provide are stored locally in your own browser's localStorage and are never transmitted to our web hosting server.
2. AI Provider API Calls (Bring Your Own Key)
When you enter an API key (such as Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, OpenRouter, Groq, DeepSeek, or Mistral), your browser communicates directly over HTTPS with that provider's official API endpoint to generate vocabulary items or illustrations. Your API key remains strictly in your browser's localStorage and can be removed at any time via the 🔑 AI API Key button.

Card Vocab Studio is provided as an educational and language-learning tool for creating vocabulary posters and flashcard decks in 33 languages. You may freely download, print, and share the PNG posters and Anki/CSV exports you create.
2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Vocabulary translations, phonetic transliterations, diacritics, and vector illustrations are generated using third-party AI models via your configured API key. While prompts are engineered for linguistic accuracy, users are encouraged to review and edit cards inline before exporting.
3. Third-Party API Keys
Users who supply their own third-party AI API keys are responsible for complying with the respective AI provider's terms of service and usage limits.
